Many of these patterns repeat lengthways and sideways if you photocopy them – pattern repeats cut at the edges will rejoin across the gap if you follow the examples situated diagonally in the middle of the pattern. For narrow scarves, slice the pattern vertically; these patterns have mostly been supplied without edges, which may be added quite simply.
They are supplied on 1 cm grid, which may be reduced or enlarged according to the thickness of the yarn you intend to use. For advice on matching thread and grid, see Contemporary Lace for You.
